StarFuse – Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
StarFuse ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile puzzle game. This policy explains what information is collected when you play and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- Display name. If you submit a score to the leaderboard, you choose a display name. This name and your score are stored in our database and visible to other players.
- Device ID. A randomly generated identifier (UUID) is created the first time you play and stored on your device. It is used to associate your leaderboard entry with your device so your best score can be updated rather than duplicated. It is not linked to your identity.
- Game score. Your highest score is stored on your device and, if you submit it, in our leaderboard database.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personal information.
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services that may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob – serves rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalisation. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.
- Google Firebase / Firestore – stores leaderboard scores. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Leaderboard entries are kept indefinitely so scores remain visible to other players. You can request removal of your entry by contacting us (see below).
Children
StarFuse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
